What is Doctor Dogs Goal?
Our Goal is to determine exactly what extent our furry friends can actively help in Early Cancer Detection. We have entered into a training program and long term research project in order to discover and document our findings.
If I submit a Sniff Kit will I get any results?
Doctor Dog Sniff Kits are for training and research purposes only. They are not used to diagnose or offer any information in a medical capacity. You will not be receiving any results from submitted Sniff Kits.
What kind of dogs do you use?
A breed with a top quality sniffer is required. One that is also known to cause people less allergy symptoms. A dog that loves to work and has the physical ability necessary to do the job. One that is friendly and can also be trained as a Therapy Dog to allow access to various locations and situations with confidence . Many dogs might do well and we have chosen to start with the furry friends we have. But we will be building our program around our previous experience with the truffle hunter. How is my personal information kept safe?
Doctor Dog collects only statistically relevant information. No personal identity information is maintained as part of our Sniff Kit Records.
